You have your statutory holidays recognized nation wide. Your religious holidays recognized by your church or temple and most employers. Come to think of it even when you die friends, family and close colleagues will go out of their way to come to show and pay their respect. Well guys, why come visit the dead when you could have been there to experience life with the living?!
