Technology is rapidly changing, and your vehicles audio system is no exception. Bluetooth is here to stay, and will play a large part in your new vehicles audio/entertainment system. I am currently driving the new 2012 Camry. The audio system is the base system without navigation. The vehicle comes with Bluetooth which is very user friendly, which makes pairing your phone very easy. One added feature is that when you pair your phone, any audio files you have stored on your phone will be able to be played thru the audio system. This also means that you can pair your iPOD (if Bluetooth equipped) and play all 1000 songs you have purchased.
There are two types of Bluetooth systems available. The factory equipped system that comes with your new Toyota, and the BLU logic system. Pairing of the later is on video on our website staring yours truly, and you can visit www.blulogicupdate.com to see if your phone is compatible. If your vehicle came equipped with Bluetooth, you can visit www.toyota.com/bluetooth for instructional video on how to pair your phone. One thing I have to point out is if you pair you child's phone, you might not want to listen to the music stored on it.
Another audio feature available on most new Toyota vehicles is a USB port. This allows you to connect an MP3 or iPOD , and be able to charge the device at the same time. The USB port can also be used to plug in a memory stick, and play music files. There are many ways to play audio through your system, great for those long drives.
