Women of influence: Susan Gubasta

In today’s society, women are more influential than ever in the corporate world, leading major corporations

and changing the scope of business as we once knew it. Where a dominant male figure once stood for power

and strength at the top of the corporate ladder, women have risen to take control and be major decision makers: Hillary Clinton ran for the presidency of the United States and now plays a major role in US policy, Opera Winfrey is one of the worlds most influential celebrities and Michaelle Jean, Canada’s Governor General,

has been infamous for her role in Canadian Parliament. And so the list goes on… Susan Gubasta may not be a

household name, or be seen on your evening news, but she is definitely becoming a “Woman of Influence” in the automotive world of Toyota in Mississauga. Susan grew up in an automotive family and has seen the industry have it’s ups and it’s downs over the years. Since her inception as General Manager at Mississauga Toyota,

which she co-manages with her brother Stephen Gubasta, Susan has been instrumental in adapting the dealership

to succeed in an automotive marketplace that is constantly changing.  In the Internet age, where customers have researched all the information they need to make a decision and have the ability to make price comparisons

with the click of a mouse, Susan believes that the hard sell approach has died. To successfully stand out from the pack, you have to focus on customer service first and foremost. Susan has clearly set her sights on bringing Mississauga Toyota to the top of the Toyota dealers standings in sales, service and most importantly CSI

(Customer Satisfaction Index).  After delivery of a new vehicle, customers are asked to fill out a questionnaire to identify how happy the customer was with the dealership’s sales performance.

Under Susan’s leadership, Mississauga Toyota has achieved 93.4 per cent satisfaction, far above the national average for all Toyota dealers and she won’t be satisfied until the dealership reaches the top.

A great deal of this success must be attributed to the second-to-none management team, hand-picked by Susan.

With the management team’s focus and attention put on servicing the customer in sales and service, profits seem to take care of themselves. Susan understands that a satisfied happy customer will return again and again and referrals from satisfied customers are invaluable to the future success of the dealership. The real difference at Mississauga Toyota and the key to its success is that they treat people as one of their own, right

from your first step through the front doors where you are always greeted with a warm smile and friendly hello from the receptionist or concierge. When you service your vehicle, it’s comforting to know that Mississauga Toyota’s team of advisors know your name, what vehicle you drive and how to keep your Toyota running

at its peak performance. Susan’s vision is to have Mississauga Toyota become that absolute best dealership that

it can be. How will she achieve this? “One customer at a time!”

Susan welcomes you to come and see the difference that you will experience at Mississauga Toyota and why you will want to make Mississauga Toyota your Dealership. Mississauga Toyota is a family-run operation that has been

serving the Mississauga region for over 19 years.

It is located at 2215 Dundas Street East, Mississauga, Ontario, 905-625-3420.
