The Prius Prime offers the fastest charging time in its class, taking only 5 hr 30 min to charge using a standard household 120v outlet. When you have access to a 240v outlet, charging time is reduced to 2 hr 10 min, that’s convenience! You also don’t have to worry about purchasing special equippement to charge it but there are optional at home charging stations with Toyota’s partnership with BOSCH. See below for details.

Charging Schedule and Climate Preparation

Plug in your Prius Prime at any time and set the timer to begin charging at specific popints in the day or night. You can also set the heater or a/c to activate at the end of the charging cycle. That means your Prius is always fully charged in the morning, at a cabin temperature that’s right for you.

Goodbye Range Anxiety

On a full tank and full charge, the Prius Prime can travel up to 1035km. That’s like driving from Quebec City to Toronto- without ever pulling over to the pumps, or the plug!
