Take in more. Take on more. 60/40 folding rear seats are ready to accommodate most everything you'll need for that weekend getaway. Need to haul even more? RAV4 Trail, equipped with standard towing package, can tow up to 1,590 kg (3,500 lbs).

Apple CarPlayTM
Apple CarPlay is the smart and easy way to use your iPhone® features while in your RAV4. Using Siri® voice commands or steering wheel audio controls you can make phone calls, call up your favourite playlist, use maps to find the best route, and more -- all while keeping your focus on the road. Standard on all models.
Android AutoTM
Android Auto makes it easy to access your favorite music, media, and messaging apps in the car. With larger touch targets, a simplified interface, and easy-to-use voice actions, it's designed to minimize distraction so you can stay focused on the road. Standard on all models for 2020.
JBL Premium Audio System
RAV4's multimedia setup is complemented by an available JBL audio system with 9 speakers (Limited models), Clari-Fi technology, and Sirius XM. Enhancing onboard multimedia features, RAV4 can be had with up to five USB ports between the front and rear rows and an available Qi wireless charging tray positioned at the front of the center console.
Performance
Active Torque All Wheel Drive
RAV4 AWD LE and AWD XLE feature an active torque all wheel drive system that shifts from front wheel drive to all wheel drive as soon as the system senses wheel slippage. You save on fuel when the going is good, and get enhanced traction the moment you need it. Seamlessly and automatically.
Multi-Terrain Select
Answer the call of the wild. Multi-Terrain Select takes RAV4's highly evolved four-wheel drive performance to a new level. The system allows you to select from four modes then regulates wheel spin accordingly to give you maximum traction on the most challenging terrain -- including mud, sand, rocks, and dirt. Standard on all AWD gas models.
Dynamic Torque Vectoring All Wheel Drive
RAV4 Trail and Limited (gas only) feature Dynamic Torque Vectoring All Wheel Drive with Rear Driveline Disconnect. A Toyota first, the system can send up to 50% of engine torque to the rear wheels, plus distribute it to the left or right rear wheel for exceptional control. When it isn't needed, the system ingeniously transmits all driving force to the front wheels -- reducing energy loss, improving fuel efficiency, and smoothing out the ride.

Toyota Safety Sense™ 2.0
RAV4 leads the pack when it comes to safety. All 2020 models come standard with TSS 2.0 ‐‐ featuring advanced active-safety technologies and capabilities that enhance protection and support your awareness and decision making under a variety of conditions and contingencies.

Parking Assistance

Should the unexpected or unavoidable occur, RAV4 and RAV4 Hybrid help cushion the blow with a network of eight strategically placed airbags, including: dual stage airbags for driver and passenger, driver's knee, passenger seat cushion and front and rear side curtain airbags.
